
BREAD RECIPES | Super Simple Homemade Bread

This is no-knead bread, simplified. In a perfect world, I would make all of my family's food from scratch. This is not a perfect world. However, I have fiddled with this recipe to the point where it is easier to bake bread than to go to the store and buy it. There is no over night waiting, and you get one loaf today and dough waiting in the fridge for another loaf later in the week.
Yield: 2 Servings
Ingredients:3 cups whole wheat flour3 cups all purpose flourOr: any ratio there of to equal 6 cups3/4 tsp active dry yeast (or 1/2 tsp instant yeast)2 1/2 tsp sea salt3 1/2 cups warm waterparchment (not crucial but helpful)dutch oven or covered deep casserole dishetcetcInstructions: In a large bowl combine flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm (not hot) water, and stir to combine. The dough will be shaggy. If it is not shaggy and moist, you might need to add a bit more water.
